Biraban Local Aboriginal Land Council seeks to build, strengthen and maintain local, regional and international partnerships with government and non-government organisations to contribute to a positive and sustainable future for our local Aboriginal community through employment; tourism; Aboriginal culture and heritage conservation, education, training, workshops and tours; environmental conservation; community events and economic developments.

Biraban Local Aboriginal Land Council are based in the West Lake Macquarie area with its boundary extending across two Local Government Areas (LGA’s) including Lake Macquarie City Council and Cessnock City Council encompassing Wyee Point (southern boundary), Wollembi (western boundary), Edgeworth (northern boundary), Speers Point (eastern boundary) and all suburbs in between.
